Student Leadership Council

The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is a student group that serves to positively impact the Winthrop School community. Members of the council are student leaders who regularly demonstrate Winthrop's core values by caring for themselves, others, and the greater school community.

SLC is open to 4th and 5th grade students. Student leaders engage in an application and interview process before joining. In addition to meeting as a group, students serve on committees that focus on different areas of school life, such as walking kindergarten students to the bus, Green Team, or helping with service projects. Through their participation, students learn important leadership skills and take pride in helping Winthrop School be the best it can be.
